Steve's 93 GT is Stock (except radio, pads &
rotors, mufflers, and electric fan kit) with just
over 115K miles on it.
He plans on.......
-exhaust upgrades
-short throw shifter
-rear end gears, unit, and support cover
-caster/ camber plates
-springs front/ rear
-upgraded brakes
-small juice kit (over my dead body, not this car)
Sometime down the road he'll have the engine
balanced and blueprinted, and a stronger
gearset stuffed in the trans.
His 93 LX Notchback
Currently in need of a new trans. Only a 4-cyl.
So, in the future....
-He wants to make it a street/ strip car (more
strip than street, ok, barely streetable).
-Convert to a standard drivetrain
-Start with a juiced small block
-move onto a turbo set-up down the road.
-Wants a lot of the standard stuff, built 8.8 w/
disc brakes, cage, rear seat delete, etc. plus
others... whatever the mood strikes, when the
time is right.
The kicker is, I WILL have a mustang before he
starts anything on this car. LOL. This is why I
love him.
